Hi,

Not sure if this question should be in the plastering forum?

going to tile my ensuite with ceramic tiles,

Should I tape and fill the seams before tiling over them, or can I just miss that bit out?

For the shower area I will be using a BAL waterproofing kit. should i tape and fill the corner and roof joints in the normal fashion before using the waterproofing kit?

The kit does say it can handle gaps up to 1.5mm.

Tape using plasterboard mesh for the walls. If you're using a kit for tanking, then this will include what's needed for the shower (primer, tanking plus tape). Any gaps will be filled with adhesive as you tile.
