Hi,

My bathroom is going to be part tiled (just inside the shower and above the basin) and the rest will be painted.

The whole bathroom has just been skimmed. I am going to use a mist coat to prepare the walls for the paint but am wondering what I should do with the tiled area? Would the misting be sufficient, the tiles are 330 x 225 and are ceramic. I will be using Bal Max Flex fibre as the adhesive.

Also, it is a downstairs shower so will hardly be used so not worried about tanking etc.

Thanks,
Darren

use an acrylic or sbr primer, not PVA

I contacted BAL and they said I should use BAL Prime APD undiluted. Hope this helps other people.
