Tiling over underfloor electric heating

Dear All

I am having electric flooring put in my bathroom which will then be tiled over.
Apart from the electric element what else do I need i.e do i need any mats to stop the tiles from moving etc? Sorry but am a real novice at this so any help is really appreciated, many thanks.

What substrate are you fitting the mat on?

And, what does the manufacturer recommend?

Firstly though, you need to make the substrate good for tiling. A minimum of 18mm Ply or preferably 6mm Hardiebacker board if it's floorboards.
