We want to tile a walk-in shower. The partition wall (1000mm x 100mm) to the main bathroom will be tiled on the inside (shower) side and on the 100mm edge. The other long side of the partition wall will be painted.

How do I finish the edge wall up to the painted wall so that it looks neat and you don't see a row of tile edges from the outside? I'm not keen on beading but is it the only way to do this in a robust but aesthetically acceptable way?

Thanks

pretty much, yes. you can consider metal flat edge trim if you find that looks better?
