Hi all I’m looking to purchase a tile cutter and a wet tile cutter. I’m not really into buying cheap tools and was looking at the rubi cutters and wondering if anyone had any recommendations…..for both std and wet.

Thanks

I couldn't really see they had a great offering on the wet front.....also see the tx series is recommended for porcelain. ...

us use a sigma and rudi hand cutter as for wet just get a 42 grinder and good tile blade

I'm now leaning toward Norton TT200EM & RUBI TX700.....any experience of these models?

Yer iv used and tx 1200 there both there own tools as one is a wet cut and the other is a manual cutter just how mush tiling are you doing id buy the
tx 700 and a cheaper wet saw what tiles are you planning on laying have you looked at the sigma range then the mutz nutz

Sorry, probably should have made my original post clearer.....I want to by a manual cutter and also a wet cutter for bi-directional cuts. I did look at the RUBI ND200 but seemed poor reviews and most preferred the Norton TT200. I will check out the sigma cutters.

Over the years I will do various tiling jobs, but would rather buy decent tools so I like to do my research first......as I mentioned the ND200 is nearly £400 and quite frankly has received shocking reviews with some saying it doesn't even cut straight.

iid try to get a good bridge wet saw and a 4" grinder id say the makita with paddle trigger is best with a good diamond continues blade will be good plan
