Tiling window reveal

Hi,

We are tiling with 12" x 18" travertine in a brick pattern. There is a window which is going to have quadrant edging around it.
As the edging breaks the continuous grout lines we have the option of carrying the grout line into the window reveals or going aroung the reveals with the tiles in their long dimension.
I am inclined to retain the the grout line into the reveals but am asking if there is a preferred style ?

i would have thought that the majority of tiled windows have the quadrant edging strip to give it a set of clean lines, if done neatly. but also the choice is yours or what you are happy with.
which idea did you like the most when you held some tiles up at the window?
