Over the years the door step has been painted various colours by previous occupants and the landlord Peabody. As a result it looks ghastly it's peeling very badly.

I'm trying to find someone who will tile my front door step, it is only 5 large slabs big how much would a builder charge for this work?

I was thinking of using small kitchen floor type tiles, would this be suitable for the job.

Your advice will be gratefully received.

How large is the area in sq meters?
Could you clean off the paint yourself?
If someone tiles it for you and they have to prep the surface/remove paint they will charge more.
