Hi
I've nearly finished rebuilding a small outbuilding in solid concrete block, which I intend to clad with treated feather edge timber coloured with Cuprinol.
I have fitted a damp proof membrane on the first row of blocks to stop damp rising up through the blocks themselves and I was just going to screw some vertical treated battens to the blocks and attached the cladding to that.
However on googling around for info on cladding I noticed reference to a "breather membrane". Do I need one in this circumstance?
Thanks
