Afternoon all,

I need to lay some timber sheets in my living room and hallway … not sure what’s best osb, ply ,chipboard ?

Anyway what’s the best way to secure it to the concrete floor please? I was thinking adhesive?if so which would you guys recommend please ?

I don’t have the height to batten it, the floor was ripped up before moving in so has a membrane under the self levelling so not worried re damp

Any help would be really appreciated as I’m trying to get the floor down before Christmas for the children thanks

What are you laying the sheet material for? Is it a substrate to fix something like engineered floring to?

Hi job,

Whoever laid the floor has a few dips here and there but not that bad
However the floor gets freezing even with carpet. The main reason though is because we’ve knocked the wall through to the next room and the living room and hall are lower so want to level it, prefer doing this with timber sheets then more self levelling
Thanks
Jake
