Time served Plumbers Mate

I have just recently become a time served plumber. I am 20 years old and have my own transport. I am looking for work as a Plumbers Mate to gain just a little bit more experience.

Previous experience with plumbing is domestic plumbing repairs, bathrooms, kitchens & water heaters, gas servicing & boiler repairs. I can work on my own and have done since my 2nd year of apprenticeship.

I am a quick learner and will pick up all the skills necessary to work as a plumber/ gas engineer. I have not wanted to start my own company as I think I need a bit more experience when it comes to more specialised areas (central heating fault finding etc.)

I have my ACS Gas Safety and all necessary plumbing qualifications. I am willing to assist a tradesmen in order to gain more experience in this industry, and get a different look at it through a different company.

I am from the Glasgow area but I will travel most of the UK for a decent company that will do this for me thank you.

Don't belittle yourself son, you have experience & qualifications. OK so you need more experience, but you would be a valuable member of any workforce.

My advice is go onto the SNIPEF web site & contact all member firms. Send out your CV & phone them. Times are hard & there's lots of site Plumbers looking for work. Post up your e-mail address also, there's a few members on here from Glasgow, as I am & they may contact you.
