Hello

I am looking to purchase a timer that I can program on and off times to control low voltage led lights.
We have
10 lights at 0.48w each
16 lights at 0.24w each
Total 8.64w
The lights are powered by two AC-DC adapters with an output of 12v-1a max.12VA
They plug into a double 13a socket that is on its own supply in a clean dry area with a Timeguard rcd fused spur fitted with a 3amp fuse.
Please help

Thanks in advance
Regards

I have tried to use a timeguard fst17a it worked for three days and stopped working. After contacting Timeguard they told me this type of time switch will not work with low voltage led lights

Don't know why.
Did you hang up when they told you that?

From instructions:
Energy consuming appliances such as immersion heaters and storage heaters up to
13A total loading can be supplied by the FST11A/FST17A enabling users to make use
of Economy 7.
If the user has other appliances which do not have a push button start such as
washing machines, dishwashers and tumble dryers these may also be controlled in
the same way. It can also be used to control lighting, if a neutral is made available.
Lighting up to 1.25kw filament can also be controlled.

It's just a switch. It knows not what it is controlling.

Can't see anything wrong with that one.

Try and get a replacement under warranty.

What happened after 3 days ?

After three days the lights did not switch off. They are constantly on no mater what the timer says

Make sure it's not something silly like an override !

If there is a reset hole. Use it.

Then take it back!
