Hello All,

So it was decorating time at the weekend. Needed to take a bedroom radiator off. Did this but one of the radiator valves must be faulty and water kept coming out. Rushed out to get a stop cap and got the wrong size. 22mm instead of 3/4 inch. Decided to put the rad back on. End of leak at least.

Unfortunately no hot water or heating that evening.

Yesterday we filled that rad back up and topped up the boiler to the required pressure.

Still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

says it all, they are rubbish.. from what you've said id check the overheat stat hasn't tripped and the low water pressure switch isn't blocked as they are the most likely with ya draining the sys

Can you see the low pressure light lit behind the front panel, bottom right?

there is no low pressure light.

on the panel there is a diagram showing what all the controls do and this includes the low pressure light. which does not exist on my boiler.

the low pressure light is behind the panel that is behind the drop down panel, not obvious with a quick glance.
