Hi all

Just a quickie, and hopefullyTips on stirring Zinsser Bulls eye 123... an easy one...

I'm about to start priming/undercoating my frames and it will be the first time I've ever used 123. I've removed the lid and am giving it a stir. But ti is hard to because the paint is mega thick and gloopy.

Is that how it usually is? If so, any tips on how best to stir it in the tin? And how do I know when I've stirred enough? Should it loosen up and feel more pliable? Any other ways to tell?

Cheers

Max

Max,
It is a thick paint but that's because it has to cover the surface well.

I use a small mixing paddle in the end of an 18v makita drill, take it steady to start and it should be mixed when it has drawn up any thick residue from the bottom of the tin. You can thin the paint but not by very much or it will loose its cover properties.
