Hi There,
I am new to these forums but haven't seen any posts regarding what I want to do...
I have recently purchased a flat with a TN5HK entry system and from my research I understand that it uses the speaker in the handset to sound the buzzer. I am planning on putting some form of amplifier in line and a second speaker in a different room on this circuit and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Alternatively I would love to use my arduino to sense noise on the line and send me and my partner an alert / allow us to open the door but this could be a bit beyond my capabilities currently.
I am a broadcast engineer by trade so am quite used to tinkering with electronics. We also own a share of the freehold of the building so as long as others in the building agree I cant see any problems with me doing this on a legal level?
Thanks,
Kai
