Pretty self explanatory title, but when we flush our toilet it causes the plug in our bath to bubble, and let’s out a bad smell.
Vice versa, when we empty the bath the toilet makes a noise. They aren’t even in the same room, as our toilet is separate from the bathroom.

We have a plumber visiting this week anyway to instal an outdoor tap, so will probably ask him to look at it. But I was wondering if there is anyway to solve this ourselves?

+1, you have a blockage somewhere down the line, check any manholes, and see if the neighbours have any issues. (If a shared drain is blocked, it's the Water Company's issue.)

Who has young kids nearby? Will be wet wipes.
