Hi

Fitted a new Armitage Shanks Conceala 2 cistern last weekend.

Just tested the inlet and it’s not shutting off once the float rises.

All the components came pre-installed in the cistern. I’ve spoken to the place I bought it from and they’ve said send me a photo (not sure what help that is).

Anyway, photo is below, can I go get something similar from Screwfix / Toolstation etc? Any better / quieter valves you could recommend?

Thanks

take the washer out and give it a wipe. a tiny bit of grit can cause it to stick.
Does it stop if you hold the arm up a bit?

Thanks for the reply.

Does not shut off if arm is fully lifted to its stop. Dismantled the valve, took washer out and cleaned everything. Even when dismantled, lifting the arm appears to do nothing.

Think i’ll Just have to get a new one.
