Toilet flush button

I have a madrid bathroom suite bought from B&Q. The toilet fluch button has snapped and unable to use it. I have only the button and screw on thread so im thing that something that pops the button back up has been flushed away.
Will i have to replace the whole flushing valve.

Will most be suitable for the toilet? Something like this?
