Toilet handle - what is this part called?

In the following photo there's the white plastic part that the handle goes through and then a white plastic nut is screwed on:

What's that part called?

The one in my cistern is getting worn inside which means that the handle flops around a fair bit. It could really do with a bushing but I don't have anything suitable. Don't really want to have to buy a whole toilet handle 'kit' just for that plastic part but I'm beginning to think that may be inevitable.

Assuming your problem is the blue plastic leaver arm that the square shaft has rounded to hole. You need one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Brass-Univ...&hvtargid=pla-421529448410&psc=1&gad_source=1
Cheaper in screwfix but the amazon has a better picture to explain how it fits

Thanks but I mean the white, cylindrical, threaded piece that the handles goes through (it acts as a bushing between the handle's stem and the cistern) - if you look at this photo:

see the white thread piece on the handle.

I doubt that that item will be available separately. In any case, complete handle assemblies are available very cheaply, starting at around £4.00, so save yourself the hassle and just buy one of those!

Well, you might save around £1.50 if you get this thread & nut but your handle might not fit into it.
Just get the whole new assembly!
