Can anyone advise please? Here is a picture of one of our toilet seats which has come loose on one side, whereas the other bolt is still tight. The loose side can be lifted up, moved back and forward etc........ The whole seat can be moved right and left in a straight line even over the tight bolt. I do not want to force the seat but need to know how to get to the fittings to tighten this one side. I cannot see any grub screws or anything like that. Many thanks for any suggestions.....[/img]

there is nothing in terms of fittings under the pan.

The washer you have pulled from between the seat and the pan - presumably thet's as far as you can pull it out, yes?

Something goes from the long rectangular piece of the hinge, through the aforementioned washer, through the pan, and holds the seat in place.

Picture of the underside of the pan?
