Toilets and changing rooms

In the south of France they still have some communal toilets (even at montpellier airport), and no-one seems to have a problem with it...
They have them at Hippodrome theatre in Birmingham, it's a bit strange walking in and seeing 4 women at the mirror doing their makeup......from people I've spoken to they would prefer them separate.

Why's that?

Worried that they'd laugh at your bits?

What is a problem is that despite women taking longer, they usually get less facilities wherever you go in the UK.

Even in newly built stadiums or arenas. I guess the architects are still mainly men!
Despite having more toilets, women take longer which occasionally results in them having to queue. I wonder how many women who have queued for the loo, then try to be as fast as possible to aid their fellow human? You will find in a busy men’s loo the pace picks up and blokes are in and out as quickly as they can. If ms motorbiking is given an hour to get ready she takes an hour + 15. If she has an hour and a half she takes an hour and 45. We are just different.

If we need to leave at 7:30, I’ll tell her 7pm depart latest.

I guess it's down to the culture...

There are plenty in Scandinavia, but then they also grow up usually having to shower naked before going swimming.

Scandinavians I know who have come here only usually try the swimming experience once as they can't believe the lack of hygiene!

I can understand women not wanting to use mens toilets... when I use the toilet say at the airport, I walk in and back out of at least 4 cubicles before finding a clean one....

Some (not all) men are dirty gits.

In contrast when I let my airbnbs to people on jobs in the winter, the cleanest were navies/highways engineers and the dirtiest were female nurses.
You wouldn't think that would you....the only thing with toilets is women cant really p**s on the seat.

That is what I meant by lack of hygiene in the UK, and not just the swimming pools...

Overall in a lot of European countries most things work and are cleaner...

It comes back to culture, and in the UK in this aspect it stinks...

Provide sh*tty infrastructure and you get animal behaviour!

You basically get in close and pee almost in public.
Another reason the loo queues are always longer for the lasses. Loads of yellow snow just off the chair lift tops.

'Dropping the kids off' is a different matter though entirely..... take off helmet and goggles and hang somewhere, take off gloves and shove in pockets, take of strap bag or rucky and hang somewhere, take off jacket and wonder where to put it, undo bibs, pull down various layers and hope you haven't gone early in the panic to undress.
Then put everything back on and hope you haven't left owt behind.

Pooing on the mountain is no fun, so the lasses have my sympathy.
