Tommy Robinson flees UK

If you were not too scared to watch the video and poison your mind then you would have answers to these questions
Did he at any point attempt to defuse any situation,
In the vid he says (paraphrasing )he tried to defuse the situation at least 10 times, continently walking backwards trying to keep him at arms length. The bloke kept coming at him.
or call for assistance, or just took the law into his own hands.
He could see that there were at least 2 security there and members of the public - the bloke seemed to be in good hands

Just imagine if you were on your way to a flight and were involved in a fracas of any sort, do you think it would be best to get on the plane and fly, or at least inform the authorities before doing so, or stop and sort the situation out. Fly as planned ? really ?
He contacted the police straight away left them a message - he played the recording of it in the vid
Don't think I could relax on a holiday if I knew I was going to be in trouble when I got back, or before.
He didn’t relax he said he was shi-tting himself

Not the sort of thing I've ever done, but I couldn't walk away from that scene, even if I'd been attacked.
He says that if he had stayed then within minutes there would muslim gang lads there and his life would be in danger.

He says he was really scared that there would be no CCTV of the section before the punch but was really relieved when the police showed him it as he says it completely shows self defence.
I think I caught him intimating that he has his own video of the whole thing from his phone.
He was also expressing remorse for the chap and not blaming him as he has been brainwashed by the media about him.

All, I repeat ALL of that, is according to him. And we know beyond doubt he is very good at his wording.

I will wait for any court case. There might not even be 1 of course. Innocent or guilty in due time.

I can wait

Yep all his own words as you say but knowing that there is CTV evidence why the heck would he risk lying about it.
The fact that you wont watch the vid explains a lot about your attitude to covid vax - climate change. - I am not saying I believe everything he says but I prefer to look and examine every side of a situation for myself.

There are a fair few who bring up the fact they UK isn't doing enough on this e.g. we're x down on the table of EU countries that take migrants. From that you can deduce they think we should be taking more.

Posters usually provide those stats simply to counteract incorrect claims that we take more than any other country. To add context, so to speak.

Tommy Robinson, the guy with a long history of fraud and dishonesty says it was self defence……oh well it must be true then no doubt about it.

And you only have his side available to look at.

Says a lot about your approach to many things

He's such a gentlement. Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, widely known as Tommy Robinson, has a lengthy history of court appearances and convictions for various crimes in the UK. His offenses range from violence and public order violations to fraud and, most frequently, contempt of court.

Here is a list of some of his known court cases and prosecutions:

  • 2005: Assault
    • Convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault with intent to resist arrest for an incident in July 2004 where he kicked an off-duty police officer in the head. He was sentenced to 12 months and 3 months concurrently.
  • 2011: Public Order Offence
    • Convicted of "threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour" for his role in a large brawl involving football fans in 2010. He received a 12-month community rehabilitation order, 150 hours of unpaid work, and a three-year football banning order.
  • 2011: Assault
    • Convicted of common assault for headbutting another English Defence League (EDL) member. He was given a 12-week suspended jail term.
  • 2012: Mortgage Fraud
    • Sentenced to 10 months in prison for using another person's passport to enter the United States illegally and for mortgage fraud.
  • 2017 & 2019: Contempt of Court
    • In 2017, he received a three-month suspended sentence for filming inside a courtroom.
    • This suspended sentence was activated in 2019 when he was found guilty of contempt of court for live-streaming a video outside Leeds Crown Court that risked prejudicing an ongoing trial. He received a nine-month prison sentence for the two contempt charges combined.
  • 2021: Libel and Stalking
    • He lost a libel case brought by a Syrian schoolboy, Jamal Hijazi, whom he had falsely accused of assault. Robinson was ordered to pay £100,000 in damages and was made subject to an injunction preventing him from repeating the defamatory claims.
    • He was also subjected to a five-year stalking prevention order for harassing a journalist and her partner.
  • 2024: Contempt of Court
    • He was sentenced to 18 months in prison for admitting to 10 breaches of the injunction he was given in the 2021 libel case. He had repeated the false allegations against Hijazi in a film he made and in online interviews. The sentence was later reduced on appeal.
  • 2024: Charges under the Terrorism Act
    • Charged with failing to provide the PIN to his mobile phone under the Terrorism Act. The trial is scheduled for a future date.
  • 2025: Harassment and Assault
