tool required to recreate stone effect

Hi, i roughcast for a living and at times key in stones onto wet render. My problem is i need to recreate using a stamp or roller a dab effect that would normally be done on stone using a nail gun or similar, i normally use the handle end of a paintbrush or even the rubber end of a pencil (well 6/7 of them taped together) to get close to the effect i want (ish), can anyone point me in the right direction of a roller or stamp that would help

does not work well in standard render products, you could however become a Decopierre artisan. search on youtube for decopierre and try and get hold of deco pete, this is the effect you wants I think.
