Hi all

Just redone my bathroom so took towel rail off for retailing. Have kept the plumbing as it was.

Here is pic of rad:

I reconnected the towel rad, tightened all bolts, let water into system at the same time as bleeding. Once water came out of bleed screws I tightened them up.

Turned central heating on and it wouldn't heat up. Not even the pipes feeding into either side is warming up.

Any ideas. Thanks.

:)

There's no guarantee that one of the connecting pipes isn't blocked.....the rad would fill and vent anyway if only one was working.
Turn the valves off, drain rad, disconnect and then try each valve in turn.
Assuming there's water in the loft header tank, or the boiler has been repressurised if its a combi!
John :)
