Towel radiator valves

Just a quick question guys, when positioning towel radiator valves when the pipes come out of the floor, are they postioned 'into' the room, or are they tucked under the towel rad so they can't be seen from above for example.

Personal preference, for example, you wouldn't want them sticking into the room if every time you opened the Bathroom door they would get whacked or impair the width of the door opening

Like this, the door misses the heater control by 10 mm, even though foreshortening in the photo makes it look impossible.

so the doorstop on the floor is just to stop the handle hitting the wall. Good to see an install where some thought has gone in
