Hi guys, just back from mot and advised front discs, as short on cash i was thinking i might do them myself.

Ive only ever done a oil and filter change before so how easy is this to do?

Im thinking ill do the pads at the same time?

Definitely do the pads at the same time.
These have a completely logical and simple set up and 99.9% of the time come off with no issues*.
You will need to:
Remove the caliper and tie it p to the spring out of the way
Then remove the caliper securing bracket so the disc can be withdrawn. Usually there is a torx screw locating the disc, try to undo this when the assembly is complete.
Make sure you have the correct spanners /allen key / torx driver or whatever before bashing on.
* the .09% means the disc has stuck to the hub, and has to be sliced away with an angle grinder - nothing to worry about that anyway.
The hub that the disc mates to must be perfectly clean and rust free....have some emery paper standing by!
John :)
