Hello All,
My lounge and downstairs hallway currently have cushion floor throughout directly onto the subfloor.
Next week, I am having the lounge carpeted in the usual manner, with the plan to have solid wood in the hallway.
The wooden floor is actually going to be parquet using 18mm thick pine floorboard as the material, glued onto the subfloor (which already has a DPM underneath).
I am unsure what the best transition would be between the two rooms.
A Z-profile door bar doesn't look to allow wooden flooring as deep at 18mm.
Thanks
