Ive got Lloyd's travel insurance. I called them up today to be sure my girls are covered.

She said thst I have to declare anything healthwise within the last 6 months.

She mentioned cholesterol. Ive had a pharmacist call me to say I have cholesterol. I need to go on Statins.

I never took the offer up.

If I dont declare that its possible thst I have
Cholesterol is my null and void, even if I get bit by a wolf ?

You’ve answered your own question.

You could tell them you are in your 30’s, no health problems and you are as fit as a fiddle and they’d take your money and issue your insurance. If you are unfortunate enough to have to make a claim, that’s where they will look into everything and you will come unstuck.

Just answer the question truthfully.

I just took out some cover for a short trip to France. Cholesterol probably wont kick the premium up by much anyway. Cholesterol depends on the numbers and type so worth getting your test results to see the actual figures.

Dont be stranded abroad because of a false declaration.

Don't ask me about travel insurance - you are looking at the man who thought he would save some money by buying a years cover in April 2020

Did you have the blood test done there?

If not WTF is a doctor doing sharing your medical results with a pharmacist?

Or did you have the test at the doctor, and they sent a prescription to your nominated pharmacy, and what the pharmacist was trying to say was that the doctor had prescribed statins (which only have 1 use) and it was ready for collection?
