Hi,

Just trying to clarify something, I've read slightly conflicting info on the forums.

Just bought 600x400x12 travertine tiles for bathroom. They were sold as wall and floor tiles. Three walls are solid brick, but the fourth is a stud wall with plasterboard. Is this wall going to hold the weight?

I'm holding off laying them as I don't like things that go bump in the night!

You also need to add the weight of adhesive to that, probably another 4-5kg/m2 depending on trowel notch, and thats bare plasterboard not skimmed

That's just cruel Jason.
I wouldn't worry too much about the weight issue - I reckon that figure of 32kg/m² will have a little extra capability to save from claims from borderline weight issues.
