Probably the treadmill has a certain amount of earth leakage.
This may be because of a fault (in which case you need to get it checked out) or it may be that it has some mains filter components on the power input that present an amount of earth leakage.

Lets say that the treadmill has a nominal earth leakage component of 10mA.
This will not be enough to trip the RCD on its own, but other items (or wiring) in your house may also have a level of earth leakage. This means that your RCD may trip when the treadmill is being used plus one or two other items. These may all add up to create an earth leakage level that wil trip the RCD.

I suggest you get the treadmill PAT tested to check there is not an inherent fault and the RCD tested to make sure it is operating in its spec.
After that its a detective job to track this sort of thing down.

You could just go jogging instead. :D

Check there is no build up of carbon dust in the motor. Look at the Non-Drive end where the brushes are situated. This is a common problem with these motors, its about time the OEM's sorted this. We have about 5 or 6 of these brought in by the public each year and its always the same fault.
With the power completely disconnected use a small paint brush to try to clear away any build up and then use a vacuum cleaner with the nozzle attachment fitted to suck to away. Under no circumstances use any form of liquid! A can of electrical spray clean is permissable after removing the bulk of any deposits but make sure you put down covers to protect the surrounding area, as its quite messy.
If this fails then do as TTC says and have it checked professionally.
