Tree house from pallets

Hi guys
I've been told I've got to make a treehouse for the children!
I'm going to do it out of pallets as there's loads laying around at work I'm just wondering about the splinters is it just a case of sanding them down?

If anyone happens to have any pictures tree houses made from pallets I need some ideas!

Thanks I'll have a read although I can't see it being a problem I'm only looking at going 3 foot off the ground and it will only be the size of one pallet with walls built around that, if that makes sense

I would felt the roof and make it look a bit prettier though

Careful. I started out with a few pallets as a base and walls for a playhouse, and look what happened!
