We have a Trianco TRG45 Solid fuel boiler and the fan has Suddenly become much louder. I've cleaned it out but it is still making the noise. Anyone any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Almost guaranteed to be the fan motor bearings I think- although I've never seen this system.
Any chance of a picture do you think?
John :)

These small motors often have bronze bushes rather than ball bearings.....maybe you could try to get a little oil into them?
I'm assuming here that the fan isn't rattling on the casing, of course.

No, i checked that when I cleaned it. I'll give the oil a try. Thanks very much
