hi all need some help plz theres no hot water coming from my shower,checked inlet,checked thermal cut off and no continuity through it was thinking about linking it out has anyone done this like,just temp till i can get new one.

For testing purposes yes
But i wouldn't advise for short term use purposes as this is a safety device
and without it can cause the shower to overheat and boil the water.
Causing more internal damage.
