The water is now not hot enough and the flow hardly reduces when turning up the temp setting to 10. What do I need to check please?

If the flow hardly reduces between 1 - 10 then the stabiliser valve is more likely faulty
Should be powerful flow at 1 low flow at 10.

Stabiliser / solenoid assembly is around 50 quid from triton ,a new shower ( jade 3 ) is double that. How old is your shower ? If more than 6/7 years old ,I would buy a new shower if I were you.
