Hello, I have been using Ronseal High Performance filler on an exterior window sill. I am ready to prime and paint but however many times I fill rub down and fill again, I still keep getting small dips in the work. All I want is a smooth finish without these "reverse pimples". What should I do please.

Fill slightly high and sand with a flat surface , not you hand. Use 120 grade , then 240.
