hi i could do with some advise i want a large plastering trowel and dont know which size to go for 18" or 20".is one size easier to use than the other any advise would be apriciated.

are you a virgin to plastering?? have you got big arms?? these are the questions you need to be answering.

The bigger the "trowel", the quicker you can mess things up. So if you're in a rush, nip down to wickes and get that 18" float.

A trowel of that length is best used on wet concrete or floor screed.

The longer the trowel the flatter the result.
