Unfortunately the choice of leaders and politicians in general, both sides of The Pond, are rather unedifying and have been for quite some time.

As for people who we should be permitting into The UK, I set the bar quite high. Unfortunately though, we seem to be allowing the feckers to limbo under it.

Let's hope this lot make more inroads than the last 14 years did.

Do not assume others want more immigrants just because they criticise a lack of action. But shouting at the sea or the boats doesn't actually achieve anything.


The comment abut standards refers to people of the characters like Johnson, Trump, and possibly Farage too. I expect better in positions of power.

On the other hand Biden just pre-emptively pardoned 5 of his family on top of the Hunter pardon. In order to accept the pardon they are also accepting their guilt.
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, lambasted the outgoing president for the move. Comer had led an investigation into the Biden family and international business endeavors.

“President Biden’s preemptive pardons for the Biden Crime Family serve as a confession of their corruption as they sold out the American people to enrich themselves," Comer said in a statement.
