Yes the prooblem is then escalating it into a full on all out WW3 scenario., any peace deal at any cost would be a favourable outcome to what is coming.

I don't care for your theories, I am talking about going to war without the U.S, we could hang out for a couple of months of fighting until we exhaust our stock piles against a country like Russia. We simply cannot do it for a sustained period which is what it would take.
