Trump v Zelenskyy

Poo tin and to an extent the Chinese bloke

Will be sitting back laughing there wat sits off ;)

These types of exchanges should be conducted in private not in front of or played out in front of a television audience

For me, the moral of the story is don't walk into a meeting with the Donald and start acting like Billy Big ******. I think Zelensky is meeting with Starmer and other European leaders over the weekend, hopefully they can give him some guidance and a few lessons in diplomacy.

Be that as it may

As for guidance perhaps trump / Vance should turn up at the same lesson ???

It was a set up, they went into that meeting with the deliberate intention of goading Zekensky.

Probably a deflection to hide the fact it was a rip off deal

Trump playing to his audience, and generating headlines.
They goaded him into reveling that it was a rip of deal, with the intention of hiding the fact that it was a rip off deal?
Wealthy people are Wealthy because they stole it from the poor.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. (y)

They'll all applaud when he enters the room.
Then say nice things so they all appear to be nice.

Like a European army, of sorts?
I don't think it necessarily needs to be a defined European army, I think the main EU leaders have already discounted that approach although who knows, the whole thing's a very quick moving feast. I do however think the EU and UK need to, collectively, have a military force that is equal to the rest of the big players on the world stage. Unfortunately, and I do mean unfortunately, I think it's the only way we can ensure our own security. A very expensive insurance policy? Perhaps. But one we sorely need, and quick!

Until he says 'OK guys I told Donald to do one, now I need your help'.
Then they'll say more nice things and plan a meeting for April/May to decide if they should have another meeting, at some point in the future that might address these urgent matters.
Then Zelensky will resign after agreeing a deal with the US.

We (UK & EU) simply cannot afford it.
We need to cut massive amounts of regulatory barriers before we ever will.

It has to happen. Any such regulatory barriers will need circumvented whether on a temporary or permanent basis to facilitate it. If we (EU & UK) allow bureaucracy to get in the way of significantly strengthening our military capability then I don't know what.

It's very interesting to see the social media posts from EU leaders, as in the leaders that are siding with Zelensky and those siding with Trump.

Comes back to my previous point. Perhaps Trump no longer wants America to be seen through the leader of the free world prism? He goes on about other countries needing to step up, so let's do it.

Good grief, is there no depth that Trump will stoop to that you won’t support.

You really aren’t showing yourself in a good light.

Trumpf’s bony spur definitely playing up. Whole thing a set up, get out now Volod

On a conspiratorial note.
Perhaps the west realised years ago that they had painted themselves into a corner and needed help.
Trump was the right man at the right time to put forward.
