Trumps blinks and caves in to China

No point arguing that it is just as cheap to manufacture things in America when it obviously isn't.

Who's arguing that? National security will play a part though, look what the Chinese almost did to British steel a month ago.

how is reshoring manufacture from China to Vietnam or India a benefit to the citizens of America?

It won't be, it won't affect them either way. I think the point might be that it's damaging to China.

Well, the UK and 'a number of other EU states'.

You know that is not true
tariffs on China affect cost of goods for USA consumers

if USA manufacturers have to re shore to another country, that costs money.........which means higher prices for USA consumers

but you say Trump is a man of the people and is going to make their lives better.............but now you are saying his tariff war wont benefit american citizens. So which is it?

Companies are constantly re-shoring, have done for years.
re-shoring as part of a long term business strategy is not the same as being forced into it because an Orange cockwomble does to feed his fragile ego
