I might well regret posting this, but... many of the topics covered in the general section have absolutely nothing to do with DIY. Posting photos of car reg numbers, one's food, etc., are not DIY.

I love this site, it, and people like you have helped me in the past. I understand why the "general" section exists, but, in my opinion, it has become a toxic pool- but one which I occasionally dip into (my bad).

Some say they blame it on the boogie but i reckon it's all down to the Trolls exiled from Screwfix. Not a lick o' wit in any of 'em.

I took the dog out for a 1.5hr walk very early in the glorious morning sunshine and the birds are singing, it’s a wonderful day

I’ve just made a nice cup of single origin fresh espresso with an almond croissant and am sitting down starting a CAD drawing for a job.
