TRV pin out won't go back in

Hi there

The pin on the TRV in my daughter's room was stuck in so rad wasn't getting hot. It was very stuck in there so I pulled at it with some pliers and it came out along with a jet of water. Now I can't get it back in all the way. Aside from turning off the water and taking the valve off and apart, has anyone got any advice please??

Yes, you ought to replace the valve.

Unfortunately you made the classic mistake with those valves only push the pins down.........you *might* get the pin back if you lube it with summat.....new valve anyways
