Quite often TRVs will have vertical openings along the upper section which allow the internal sensor to determine the air temperature.

This TRV does not appear to have these. Do you think that might be an issue?

Has anyone here used this specific TRV?

The outer shroud / setting knob appears to have a wide gap around its skirt, with a vent at the top, so still good air flow.

For the number and length of time they have been in production, I'm sure they work as well as any TRV. Danfoss are very similar and must be one of the market leaders.
