should these be fitted on the flow or the return on the radiator thanks.

most on sale now are bidirectional

my preference is the return

there is usually an arrow on the body indicating flow direction
the reason i ask kevplumb is that i have just moved into a flat with a bbu fitted and there is no diverter valve just a pump and a timer/ clock
i need to replace the clock and add trv,s to the rads would i also need to fit
a wall thermostat has well.

you should really to comply with part l

however having said that to comply properly you should convert the system to fully pumped etc etc etc

exept nobody does

kevplumb if i changed the system over to comply would i have to change the cylinder has well has there is 28mm pipe going to the coil in the cylinder.

which would you recommend to use the y plan or the s plan. thanks...karl
