TRVs temp control sensitivity

Hi everyone.

My TRVs close off as they should at the required temp setting. But they wait until the room is quite cool before opening again to allow more hot water into the rads.
I would prefer it if they cut in sooner and controlled the temp more evenly without such big peaks & troughs.

Is there any easy way of finding out the closing & re-opening temps for a given setting for the TRVs from the different manufacturers or suppliers?
All web sites viewed so far have no information that I can find.

The existing TRVs are Wickes finest.

You have fitted the cheapest TRV's, go and fit Drayton TRV4, then come back to us.

Remember: Buy cheap - Buy Twice!!!
