Help or advice please,

I want to hang a 42 inch LCD off a strawboard wall, will it take the weight? approx 14kg.

If not, is there a type of tubular support, ie, 2 tubes running vertical at each side. These would take the bulk of the vertical weight to the floor and hide the wires, with the wall fixing keeping it from toppling over.

Does anyone know where I could get one please?
I have trawled the web but no luck.

Thanks in advance.

I take it you're talking about the panel construction product used to make low impact buildings like this...

According to the info here a similar style product can take ...

Up to 35.2 lbs. of direct pull load and 79.2 lbs of shear pull load can be achieved using screws

Check with the house builder if your wall product has the same or better spec. If so, then a shear load up to 35kg shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks Ninja,

See what you mean about prices.

I thought the price included the actual TV until I looked closer.
