My Crusader Condenser Tumbler Dryer has an Empty water Light warning.

This light comes on even when the condenser collection bottle is empty. When the light comes on the heating side switches off. I have checked and cleaned the valve on the condenser collection container and it is clear and free of of blockage. Is there a sensor that can be changed. How does the machine know the condenser container is full?

The machine is about 3 years old.

model number would help 2 different types of condenser

first that model is 8 years old ,from the front of mc take right hand side panel off, at the bottom is a float chamber with a micro switch on it, that is sticking there is a white box its attached to that is also full of fluff ,did you pull off the rubber bung at the back of mc at the bottom and stick a cable tie or metal coathanger in it to clear the fluff out :p

Took right hand cover off but no box with micro switch found. Took left cover off and again no box found.

Removed bung from back of the machine and removed a fair amount of fluff from pipe. Also inserted plastic tubing attached to vacuum and got more fluff out. Machine has now run for 60 minutes without the warning light coming on. Many thanks for advice.
