i'm about to do my very first plumbing job unfortunately its a very old house. I want turn off hot water supply to bathroom tap but they have a rayburn for their hot water and no central heating. Where would i locate valve for the hot water. Also, i'm not sure but the waste pipe from the sink seems like it might be asbestos only because it does not sound like plastic and covered in paint. Was asbestos used on sink waste pipes and what should i do about it.
