I agree with you. I expect a high turnout.

But watching the Swindon North declaration earlier, it said the turnout was only 66%.

Nuts!

who were all the people queuing? Weird.

Do Labour now want a second General Election, calling all those who voted the wrong way under-informed?

We'll have another one in 2024! If Brexit is the disaster that most of the experts predict, and Labour go more central, then we could well see a labour government in 5 years ...

Notchy and Gal still want another referendum....
Brexiteers were too scared of a referendum, so they opted for an election where they could win with far less than 50%

Nevermind, we can sit back and enjoy Johnson and his joke cabinet own brexit.

MOD: Corrected for you. You ok?

I think it worked out well, imagine if they or Corbyn scraped through, as i see it i see a more positive, a calmer Government less divisive and distracted by meddling remainers etc. They can actually focus on the important stuff, plus they are highly accountable here, as they can only really blame themselves, along with the obvious, less of having to do deals with extreme or groups not necessarily part of the mainstream tory manifesto. We need to at least give him a chance, i am all up for causing a stink if they shaft us anymore.

Lets not forget had Labour actually selected a credible leader it could well been a different story now, they only have themselves to blame. Corbyn too often harped on about how he would punish the rich, and all this bollix about helping the working class, that's almost insulting nowadays he's a dinosaur from the 70's.

I also like how Boris has transitioned to his role, whilst yes he was un-elected he also walked into an absolute hand-bag sh't storm, now that's blown over and the public have shown him a great deal of support i am hoping this will make him less complacent and more aware of the very fortunate position he has gained. Time will tell.

There's quite a lot I agree with here.

Labour has made itself unelectable because Corbyn democratised the party and made it a socialist party. Labour no longer represents the voters.

Johnson has a powerful mandate so he wont be held to ransom by any one group, like the ERG.
However Johnson now has a government full of muppets that are driven by self interest and incompetent, god knows what that bunch will do.

Agree although i am not sure how incompetent his cabinet is we shall see, however I already deeply dislike that prick Matt Hancock he's full of sh't and needs to be removed immediately.

It wont yield any benefits.

It ensures that we are out of the eu when the eu collapses.
Best not be part of the sinking ship. Every captain knows that.
Scotland will be independent by that stage and will come back to us cap in hand.
