Funny, when we were allegedly the worst in Europe, which of course we weren't but due to over zealous reporting, there was much rejoicing on here, there was singing from the rooftops, the hills were alive with the sound of music.

That’s great if you are coming from a country with much lower wages (I would do it to, I’ve absolutely no animosity the eu citizens that came here) but vast amounts of workers in this country, definitely millions suffered from wage suppression. Why pay people more when there are people willing to do the job for the same or even less money? Free movement tries to level standards/wages across the eu.
Unfortunately it levelled us down.
