I'm not sure if Mottie would be impressed if you propped his house on timber props then set fire to it.

I'm sure the aerial would end up uninstalled as planned, but the side-effects could be fairly negative.

Some fellers I worked with did training in them once. Said they had to extend it then move the thing sideways using its wheels, and it was terrifying how it seemed so utterly wrong and swayed about while moving.

Do you normally move them after extending it, or was this just a mad training thing?

We tend to stay in position whilst working, but you do actually drive them whist extended for certain tasks.

Oddly enough I went to a crane accident the other day last week, A crane had tippled over an embankment whilst hoisting a lamp post and ended upside down, driver was killed.
